Housekeeping Rules

On all courses that are approved for Continuing Educating Credits there are certain policies and procedures that we must follow in order to insure that requirements are met so that we have given each participant in today's event a valid credit towards their license renewal.

Attendance In order to get full credit for this course every attendee must be present at least 95% of the time the course is given. In order to insure this, we must monitor that you are here for this time. As such, we will be checking you in and out at the beginning and end of the course and at the breaks. You each have an attendance control sheet which you must fill out in order to facilitate this monitoring function.

Testing In addition to the time criteria, in order to get the Continuing Education Credits, you may have to take a test and pass by a score of at least 75% a test which covers the material presented in this course. This test will be given the last 20 minutes of the session. It may be an open or closed book test.

The test will be corrected and certificates of credit will be issued within 10 days of this date. Anyone who did not pass the test will be given the chance to take a similar test within 30 days of the date they originally were tested. If you do not pass the second test you must retake the course to receive credit.

Breaks and Restroom Leave There will be scheduled breaks during the course, in which the monitors will check you in and out of the meeting room. If for some reason you must leave the room temporarily at some other time than a scheduled break, notify the monitor at the door so that we may keep accurate track of your attendance.

IdentificationYou must be prepared to present a valid current picture identification for purposes of establishing that you are the licensee getting credit for today's course. This I.D. must be looked at and verified by one of the course monitors. We will do this at the beginning of the course and at the breaks. You do NOT have to have your license with you in order to get credit for the course.
